A Super Computer of 8 core

NextComputing presents incredible Flextop, the first computers “portable” of the world equipped with the processor Intel Xeon 5300. New NextDimension Pro and Evo use two processors Quad Blushes and they are more efficient than a computer desktop, because they use 100 watts of energy, instead of 160 watts. The paste format facilitates the transport, and the two support up to 12 HDs of of 2.5” with 160 GB and 7200 RPM. They also have four slots PCI (PCI-and in the model Evo), besides FireWire, Ethernet Gigabit, and support for until 24 GB of memory through four channels DMA.

The new computers should be presented in Interop Las Vegas on this month, but still a forecast doesn’t exist of when they will be thrown, and nor on as they will cost.
